Barbecue restaurant
Is there a barbecue restaurant across the street from Funspot? If so what’s the name of it and is any good?

not anymore
Sammy...
I think you might be referring to JR's BBQ, which was right across the street, but has been gone for several years. It is now called HEAT, a wood fired pizza shop, I believe. Never been, and know very little about it. Also across the street, is the LOONY BIN..."Lousy Food, Warm Beer"...but, my guess, is that this is not what you are loking for. Although, with the right group, the LB can be good fun. |

It was JT's Barbecue and Seafood, and they have been closed for a few years. I miss that place!

Thank you for your replies. Can anyone recommend a good BBQ place in the area?

Yankee Smokehouse
Always had a good meal at the smokehouse,it's at the corner of rt. 25 and rt. 16 in Ossipee. Casual, not fancy but good food from the pit.
