Welch Island Power
Power is down on Welch Island, or at least on the West side. I am on the island now and power went down around 9:15 PM. I have reported it to Eversource. If you notice that your power is also down please call in to report so crews will be dispatched faster to repair.

Power is on
We were on Welch this morning, Saturday 4/18. Power OK on the south side. Walked Bea's Trail to WHYC and power was OK there too.
The trail is generally in good shape except two trees down, one on top of the other. The junction signs at Bear/Helen's Way and Bear/White Trail are OK. Some soggy spots near the south end. Nice walk, beautiful day. No sign of wildlife. |
