Wreaths Across America

I believe the Laconia Rotary Club is going to take part in the Wreaths Across America project again this year by putting wreaths on the graves of all the veterans buried at Bayside Cemetery (some 400 plus). There was a letter about it in the Citizen a while back, but I don't recall the details. There has been no further mention of it in either of the papers, as far as I know. Anyone have more information as to the date and where to send donations?

Rotary Club of Laconia - Wreaths Across America

"Laconia Rotary Club will be laying wreaths at the graves of veterans at Bayside Cemetery in Laconia on Saturday, December 11, 2010. Ceremony follows at noon.

WREATHES ACROSS AMERICA UPDATE... The stakes are installed at Bayside Cemetery. The wreathes will be fastened to the stakes on the morning of Saturday December 11, with the ceremony following at noon. We will need to load the boxes of wreaths at the rotunda of the downtown Laconia train station for transport to Bayside. More details to follow... "
