I was looking to do another morning dive tomorrow and thought Empty pockets would be cool to see.

It's marked with a bottle if you know the general location.

Diver 1111 has a sidescan sonar shot of the wreck and has a Lat/Lon on the left side of image.

If no one has the numbers I will try looking for the bottle but my boat is pretty low to the water and I have not had much luck finding bottles.

That bottle can be tough to find. Senter Cove Guy and I had been on that wreck a number of times without the aid of the bottle, and one time missed it, then later in the boat drove around in circles for a while -- still no bottle. He came back another time on his PWC and found it no problem. Depends on the light and the surface chop (as well as how old & algae-covered the bottle is).
I know he attached a new bottle to something this year -- perhaps it was Empty Pockets...can't remember. At any rate, it turns out that whatever the target was, it already had a bottle attached that no one was seeing. He could shed some more light on that site. But Diver111's SSS image, linked above, has some numbers on it. Regardless, I think if you're in that general area and look around @ 55 feet, you're likely to hit it. Good luck!

Sorry I looked no coord. for that. Grant is right it sits at 55'.
Try this-as you look at the island-the NW side-almost to the end-look for 55 feet of water keeping the raft on your left. It's about 60-80 feet south from the raft, and out. If you went much further North you would start to round the N side of the island. |

The steel frame is also around the bend a few hundred feet from Empty Pockets.
Try this for the Frame: N 43 34.408 W 71 19.491 Map Datum: WGS84 It's about 40 feet long, 25-30 wide and 2 stories high. |

I dove the frame when we were up on our last vacation. Sad to say most of it is only one story high now. I made sure I did not go under any of the beams because it looks as if the bubbles could cause them to fall. Thank you for all the info you have posted on the wrecks of the lake, it should keep me busy for a while.

There are subsurface markers on the bow and the stern. It's a 28', twin engine cabin cruiser. There is a dock on the northern tip of Diamond Island. It has several vertical posts. The rightmost post may have a windsock on it. Place that post in the middle of the very leftmost window of the cabin. Drive a straight line towards Diamond Island and look for a small, bright white clorox bottle about 15 feet below the surface. The old dead tree by the rocks on the shore should be nearly between 2 other relatively tall trees further up on the island.

If you leave the starboard bow of Empty Pockets and head towards Diamond Island, put yourself in 45 feet of water and swim south. You should see a small fiberglass boat. Keep going until you see a pile of 6-8 inch diameter white pipes. With those pipes on your left, heading south, find what looks like a black pipe in the muck. Follow it southward until you come to a cement and steel structure that we call "the lifeguard chair".

Surprised not to see any fish during your dive. You would think it would be a good place for them
