Default Jo Greens Garden Cafe

There were six of us that had lunch at Jo Greens Garden Cafe ( The UpperDeck ) last Sunday. The salad bar was certainly not as fresh as it could have been. Overall we felt the food was just OK. We wouldn't rush back. Unfortunately we are limited on our dining choices. My mom is 92 and she can't walk very far. Jo Greens is convenient because it is right near the town docks. The restaurant has a wonderful view of the lake. I hope other forum members have had a better dining experience. I have been at this restaurant several times and it was much better in the past.

We ate there last week. Food was not outstanding. Service was confused, even though it wasn't busy. Potatoes were cold. One person ordered a rare hamburger and it arrived VERY well done. Even I don't make mistakes like that. However, you can't beat the views over Wolfeboro Bay!

We were pleasantly surprised when we went there in July. I think someone had steak frajitas or whatever and they got two heaping plates-same with the chicken, I think it was. I got a hamburger and that was good. I forget what the rest had-there were five of us, but everybody was happy. ( I can't remember yesterday, I certainly can't remember July.) Service was good and the view can't be beat. We did see someone order fried haddock and it looked great and plentiful.

seems to be a common thread here . we ate there twice this summer. view was great. food and service not so much wasn't horrible but was something to rave about either. service was slow and confused both times we went. second time in august was new waitress. very confused .and no one seemed to care to help her. it wasn't bust either.... I wouldn't suggest going there for other that okay food. but a good view

Jo Greens has one thing going for it and that is the view. I definitely wouldn't rate this as an "outstanding" Lakes Region restaurant.
