Just wondering. Was it floating when you found it? I ask because a section of our carpet blew out when we were racing back to our dock ahead of a thunderstorm. Didn't realize it had gone out till we got to the dock. No one has reported finding it so I'm assuming it sank. But wondering if boat carpet floats.

I've had small snap in carpets blow loose twice while only going 45 MPH
Luckily both time they were recovered. Now in addition to the snaps both carpets now have a screw in the leading edge.
