Still a few weeks to go. A lot blew out yesterday though.
I swung through Glendale last night, it was open water to the end of the docks but the launches are still iced up. Lots of crud ice piled up along the southern shore of Glendale and by MP headquarters, this all blew in from the Varney Point side. Still one annoying band between Smith Point and Rattlesnake. Huge changes in the last 48 hours! |

“ The wind really beat up the ice yesterday. Weirs Bay is out, Wolfeboro is almost clear, just Meredith, Center Harbor and Alton Bay with some remnants floating around in the Mount's travel lanes. With warm temperatures and showers in the next week's forecast could be looking at a record ice out. We'll be watching closely.”
