Can anyone tell me where Dow Island is located? Please excuse my ignorance I'm from the great state of NJ!

Dow Island is just north east of Long Island (a little under a mile) and about 2.5 miles south by south west of Melvin village.
The other Dow is more that 5,000 south from a year ago. ![]() |

If you're looking at a chart of the lake, it's right next to Whortleberry Island...near the tiny island of Pistol, Hurricaine, Pleasant, etc.

If going there, beware of the rocks around the whole area, especially this time of year.
