Default Meredith climbing wall-Fridays

....from the back page of Wednesday's LaDaSun.....

Here's a cabin fever reliever....instead of climbing the walls of your cabin....you can go climb the very well designed, constructed, & maintained 24' high (?) practice artificial, rock climbing wall at the Meredith Community Center. This climbing wall exercise takes place on Friday evenings, from 5:30 to 7:30pm, and starts tonight, Friday, March 6, and there's no charge to participate.

Youth below a certain age need to have an adult present, but I forget what age that is....I don't know...12...16....?

Adults of all ages are welcome and it is safe to assume that one must wear white-soled sneakers so not to damage or mark up the artificial rocks on the wall.

Could be a good opportunity to start getting in shape for climbing 400' high, totally vertical Cathedral Ledge up in North Conway, by the directissimo route........belay on......climb! ....or, maybe just the easy 40 minute hike up Mt Rattlesnake in Holderness with the big Squam view at the summit.

...belay on.....on belay....climb....climbing!!

Do you climb?

(I don't, but I recognize the "lingo" from reading!)

Default Ready to climb...climbing!

Les:

It's been a while (Deb can attest) but I'm UP for it! As I remember we always ended our Catherdral Ledge with Molsons. Good deal, my Father in law was the bartender at the Red Jacket.

I'll top rope you buddy. PM me and make a date.

Misty Blue.

PS. 'Might as well, we don't have any boats in the H2O!

Climbing might exercise more muscles than pushups do
