			Hello All,

I am currently enrolled in a Padi open water dive course. In order to complete it, i need to get open water certified. Are there any PADI instructors at the lake that do open water certification? Thanks, |

I would second Tom. I did the same thing a number of years ago - getting my classroom done PADI in Virginia, then doing OW with Tom. My card ended up being NASDS for the basic OW, but it gets you the same thing in the end.

You must get a letter from your instructor authorizing another instructor to do the check-outs. I believe Tom does both SSI and NAUI, so PADI should not be an issue. Call the shop -- they have classes going out for checkouts pretty often. And you can't beat a dive shop with a dive boat docked right outside.

T-minus five days 'til I make the inaugural Winnipesaukee dive of '09...
