I took a long walk on "Winni" today. I started at Wolfeboro's Brewster Beach and went past Clark Point. I talked to many ice anglers and reports were that fishing was a little slow but a few were catching some nice rainbow trout and some yellow perch. The ice is wind blown with scattered patches of snow making travel slow. I was glad I had my YakTraks on. There was a lot of cars and trucks on the ice, it sort of reminded me of a busy summer boat day except for the 6 degree temperature and the hard water. Everyone seemed to be having a good time and most claimed they were warm.
