Wildlife Walk
Winter Wildlife Hike
Saturday, February 25 9:00am – 11:00am Camp Bell 159 Manning Lake Road Gilmanton, NH Join the Belknap Range Conservation Coalition (BRCC) and UNH Cooperative Extension staff, Emma Carcagno and Andy Fast, for a winter wildlife hike on Hidden Valley conservation land. As we enjoy the 2-hour hike, we will look for wildlife sign and discuss habitat components and function. Because this program is outside and involves a hike, please bring boots, water, and be prepared for winter weather conditions. This program is Free. To register or for more information, call the Belknap County UNH Cooperative Extension office at 603-527-5475. Registration is required. If the program is cancelled due to weather, notification will be posted on the BRCC website: www.belknaprange.org Directions from the intersection of Rte. 107 and Rte. 140 in Gilmanton: Take 140 east toward Gilmanton Iron Works. In 3.9 miles turn left onto Middle Route. After 2.9 miles turn right onto Sargent Road. Sargent Road becomes Guinea Ridge Road at 1.8 miles. Continue on Guinea Ridge 0.6 miles to Manning Lake Road.
