I went to Butternut Farm this morning and picked @ 20 lbs of Cortland Apples.
The picking was real bad and I had to ask for a ladder to get the ones that were left on the trees. If you like drops then you could get all you wanted.

There were more people at the farm then there were apples. When I arrived there were cars parked on the sides of the road before the entrance of the farm and they even had two people directing traffic.

I have never seen it this bad at this time of the apple picking season.

However I was treated real well by the staff at the farm.
