Wow, what an exodus - anyone left?

In the section of Rattlesnake Island where our cottage is located, *EVERYONE* closed up this weekend and left today - except for me, that is!!!

Wow, is it QUIET. The IslandPrincess can't come up until Thursday (and wasn't here this weekend), else I'm sure there would have been a lot of pressure to close up

Personally, I like to stay absolutely as long as possible.

I hiked the entire island today - end to end and back, and encountered no one on any trail. I saw one guy mowing a lawn on the broads side - that was it!

In the past, there have been more "stragglers" around here anyway, but not this year.

Oh well !!
