Wireless Irrigation Control

In the spirit of "I can't focus at work, I want to start the long weekend" I was looking at my webcam and noticed a goose sunbathing on my lawn. Then the thought came to me if I could turn on my sprinkler system using the Internet of Things then maybe I could scoot him/her off to someplace else.

Anybody have any recommendations? I use a few Insteon products at home but it appears their irrigation controller is no longer sold.
