Everybody in NH has a cousin or an uncle who has "seen a mountain lion" but everyone also has a camera in their pocket When I see a picture of one and it is confirmed to have been taken in NH, I'll believe it. Until then, I'm firmly in the "they are not here" camp. AT BEST... MAYBE one passes through once in a very long while but if there were breeding populations in the state, there would be proof.
