Default Live Free....

I'm sure this will get some folks riled up...

Driving out of Logan the other day heading back home, I noticed a big billboard on the right-hand side of 93 at about the Charlestown/Somerville area. It was a big picture of a family in kayaks on a lake with mountains in the background. A great scene.

Down at the bottom right, were the words, "New Hampshire...Live Free"

As far as I know, the state motto hasn't been changed to eliminate "...or Die". I'm guessing the NH Tourism arm of the State Government is the group that rented the billboard space? Did they purposely leave out "or Die" to not offend anyone in MA?
