Default Could be on Keniston Island

There are a couple of cottages on the north side of Keniston Island that date back to the 1880s. They were built by railroaders who rowed back and forth to Wolfeboro (2 mi.) for access. They would drag lumber behind their row boats to build the cottages and left their wives and kids on the island while they went to work all week - rowing back Firday night. WOW!
