Bald Eagle Chicks
Last week I went out on Squam Lake to view the Eagle's nest there. There were two very large Eaglets in the nest and Mom was in a tree nearby. The Eaglets were so big that they could not both spread or flap their wings at the same time in the nest.
I went on the Eagle tour that is given by the folks at the Squam Lake Science Center and the tour was given by Iain MacLeod. The nest is located on a small island on Squam Lake and those Eaglets were ready to leave anytime. It is so exciting to see Bald Eagles thriving here in the Lakes Region.
