Downtown Grille - Wolfeboro
They just opened in their new location on Main Street in the former Hall's Pharmacy building. Amazing renovation! They put in large windows overlooking the town docks and Cate Park. There is also seating on the road side and a "private dining room" in the center of the space. Oh, yes - a gas fireplace in the middle that will cheer the patrons in the front section when the weather gets a bit cooler.
Service is by order at the front counter and food is served on plastic platters. Drinks are bottled choices and chips are in bags - all extra. We had lunch there today and the sandwiches (we had BLT's and chicken salad) were just fine. Expect to pay about $10 for your lunch. Breakfast items are a bit less. Not open for dinner as far as I know. And it does have Wi-Fi for those who are interested in that. They also have a dessert case with interesting items such as swan cream puffs and a variety of Gelato flavors. I think that it's worth a try. |
