Ragged Island and Boat trip info. request

A group of cruisers tends to raft on the north-east side of the island, they seem to know exactly were to go and how to avoid the rocks.

On the west side is a large area of shallow area extending out from the beach. I've anchored there a few times, the bottom is sand and small rocks and it less than 10 feet deep quite a way out from shore. There are some big rocks but they are very visible. Smaller boats anchor very close to shore. The beach is signed as being open to the public. I usually anchor in 7-10 feet so I can dive off the boat without hitting the bottom. There is a lot of traffic in that stretch of lake so you will get some wake but it not as bad as the Paugus bay sandbar.
