McDonald's and change!

Omigosh! Saw the demolition picture of McD's in today's Citizen! I know there was a thread a couple of years reminiscing about "old" stuff in the Laconia area. I got to be friends with Chickie about that time. I got on and remembered when McD's came to Laconia...police directing traffic in front of it...BIG deal and all!! My girls wanted to stop so badly and we'd have had to park on the moon! That was 1971...39 years ago! Now that one is being demolished for a new one! How did I get this old??? You seeing this Chickie? You think we should be checking to see if WE have an expiraton date we have not noticed??
