Default Check your Boat Insurance

I took my last ride for this year. It was a quick run from Parker Marine to West Alton Marina (for gas) and back. A little choppy in the bay and even choppier from the Rum point / Minge Cove area to West Alton.

Don't forget to make sure that you do not have a restriction on your boat policy regarding when the boat has to be out of the water. Many policies and homeowner endorsements offer a reduced rate if you do not have your boat in the water for a specified time period. Mine is from Nov 1 to March 31st. I do not have coverage for any loss while in the water during this period. I do have coverage on land such as in storage or on my trailer.

Hope everyone enjoyed the boating year as much as we did.
