Default Flamingo Motel

Hi everybody,
I've been coming up to Winnipesaukee all my life. My family and I have a summer place on Weirs Blvd. As a child I always remember going by the Flamingo Motel which was located just before the channel bridge at the Weirs. It always caught my eye as a child because of the pink coloring of the motel and I loved that they had a pool. I always wanted to stay there and thought I would get that chance as I grew older. But one spring I returned and the property was for sale. To my knowledge it was never sold and eventually torn down and is now all over grown. I'm always researching the history of places, especially around Winnipesaukee and I was wondering if anyone knew anything about the Flamingo Motel. I tried finding information on it but only can find a postcard online with a few photographs of it. I appreciate the help!!!!!
