Thumbs up The North End

Went to the north end (and not-so market - it's now a function room) for the first time this summer. Had the seafood special and wife had the JUMBO ravioli. both were absolutely delicious and more than plenty serving size. The ravioli were exactly as described - JUMBO! and the crab claws were my favorite part of my meal. Also had the north end calimari which IMHO beats out the Canoe's cal 10/10 times. It did take a little longer to get our food than we hoped, but it is a holiday weekend and 35 minutes for food is understandable. the service was above satisfactory - friendly, timely, and kept us updated with the status of our main courses. We are returning tonight with the in-laws it was that good. And we're going to try a few of those new specialty drinks. Saw someone with the risotto special and i'm hoping they have a risotto again tonight.
