Glad you asked Steve as I do my mine unlike most people. Yup, microwave. Works fantastic. I have a casserole set that I put about an inch or less water in. It will hold 4 ears of corn. Put the cover on and micro away. 4 ears is about 6 minutes, 2 about 4ish. It steams the corn very nice. I haven't boiled corn in 20 years. Try it!

We do ours in the microwave too and love it that way. We just wrap it in paper towels though.
