Bob Fogg was the aviator starting in 1923, carried air mail around the lake and thousands of passengers. Title is "Bob Fogg and New Hampshire's Golden Age of Aviation," $19.95 on Amazon or at local bookstores. A piece of big lake history that few have ever heard of.
