Chelmsford officials and police in New Hampshire are investigating allegations of hazing involving members of the high school football team, according to police.
The alleged incident happened in Moultonborough, N.H., Chelmsford police said.
The Chelmsford Public Schools and Moultonborough police were handling the investigation, according to Chelmsford police.
Moultonborough Police Sgt. Peter Beede told WCVB that the alleged incident occured about Aug. 23 at a summer camp the Chelmsford High football team was using for practice. He confirmed the investigation is ongoing.
Reached late Monday afternoon, Chelmsford High School head football coach Bruce Rich said he could not comment on the investigation. Rich referred all inquiries about the alleged incident to School Superintendent Frank Tiano.
