Default Homestead Bristol

Went to the Homestead in bristol Saturday night. Figured it was snowing and wouldn't be busy and have wanted to try it. I was surprised how busy it was had to wait 15mins for a table for 3. I'd like to say I loved it but that wasn't to be. We started with scallops in bacon that were tasty and potato skins that were not so good, so 1 out of 2. Main meal I had 18oz prime rib, wife veal Oscar and daughter chicken cordon bleu. The rib was not that good, to bring it to how I wanted it cooked they put it on the grill which I think ruins it. The wife's Oscar was ok but really had no flavor the chicken cordon bleu was the best nice pastry shell, well cooked very tasty. The girl who waited on us was nice but never mentioned the specials and when we asked about sides just pointed them out on the menu which I guess is ok. But after we got our meals it was tough to get her attention again to get another wine and refill the water. Oh ya the guys in the other table she refilled there water 3 times. So not sure I should give it another try looking for a replacement for the Woodshed but I guess there is and was only one
