Default The worm didn't want to...

One of those moments as a grandpa I'll always remember....

The little guy just turned 4 and like a good grampa I bought the boy a fishing rod and reel. He loves it! I cast it out into the cove and he gets to reel it back in. Fun time with worms and sunfish all day long.

The first time I put a worm on the hook, the boy watched wide-eyed and was aghast. "Why do you have to do that to the worm, Grampa?", he asked. "Well that's how we catch fish", was of course my reply.

After a brief period of stunned silence watching me thread the hook with fish-catching wormieness, the boy says "I don't think the worm wants to do that"!

Now every time we fish he warns me that the worm won't want to do that again.

Too cute!
