Default Faucet issue... Help !

Have a issue with a kitchen faucet.
It's a Delta faucet....

I am replacing the tiny springs and rubber bushings under each faucet handle.
I've replaced one already but having an issue removing the handle from the other.

The handle (L type handel) is held to the post by a 'tiny' Allen screw. I am using correct allen wrentch, but the screw appears to be mostly stripped in the handle hole from a previous replacement I suspect? The screw is located under handle L without much clearance, just enough for me to place the allen wrentch.

About the screw possibly being stripped or partially stripped.....
Any suggestions on how to remove? I'm at a loss at this point.

Thanks for any suggestions !
