River diving-anyone?
Hi All,
As the weather often makes boat diving not the way to go I am planning more river dives locally-all shore dives no boat; I often go river diving when the weather doesn't cut it for boating because rain, high winds etc. don't matter in a river. I have 3 sites: Winni River downtown in Laconia, one site in Tilton, one in Franklin. It will be shallow (less than 40 feet I would expect except Laconia which is alot less). I hunt for old glass of any kind (liquor bottles, poison bottles, and inkwells, insulators, ceramic crocks-jugs). Guns are not unusual to find amongst other evidence of crime plus lots of stuff you'd never expect. Each dive I plan to do w/an aluminum 80-nothing unusual for you to do or bring except a mesh bag and your gear. If anyone wants to join me I plan on diving the next few days as long as the weather is sub-par. River diving can be very interesting. Email me at info@sonarsar.com HH |
