Direct TV? CANNOT take Metrocast any longer...

I have had DirecTV for pretty much 30 years as well. I would agree with Joey2665 that it is very good:

Another option is Dish Network...I have not used it and I have heard that their customer service is not particularly good.

I would agree with Joey2665 that it is very good: The picture quality is quite good and they are starting to add 4K channels Reliability is good...the only real dropouts are during heavy thunderstorms. They have nice options with DVR and wireless connections to multiple receivers. Another option is Dish Network...I have not used it and I have heard that their customer service is not particularly good. Regards, Jetskier
