2006 Ice-Out Watch II
The ice is melting fast out here... still large floes around, but very thin. The ice at my shore is several inches thick but getting porous. Several fishing boats float by way out there... Some islanders have come to their camps by boat. I came with DBA and Father Nuke this morning via airboat.
I will post pics later... but is mostly looks like Snake Eyes is showing. It is very exciting to be opening on April 1st... It's coming folks... get those boats ready!!!!!
