traps got a few for me, but since this is a shed, they also got red squirrels and chipmunks too which would often take off with the traps. i also tried decon, but would just find piles of the pellets stashed away. still had mice around. so.. i made my own contraption.. pretty simple. and it works, got 3 on the first day.

I read about this type of trap years ago on a boating forum. I don't have a mouse problem, but if I did, this would be my solution, too. And if it is winter, you can use anti-freeze in the bucket so the water doesn't freeze.
