Sunday morning

As I sit on the porch on a beautiful day I am struck by the different way that I and others look at common sense and courtesy. A little before 7:00 a water skier went by. As the pontoon boat passed the house, Tom Petty filled the air. A few moments later a wake surfer went by and I was treated to some Bon Jovi as that boat passed.

It strikes me as odd that at such an early hour people feel the need to play their music as they enjoy watersports. It would never occur to me to do so, any more than I would sit on my deck at 7:00 and play loud music.

Did it ruin my morning? Absolutely not, nor do I think we need to ban, regulate, or fine people. Just an observation.
