Back on topic. This story from WMUR kind of flies in the face of what I would have thought was a poor spring with all of the rain. http://www.wmur.com/money/9768533/detail.html

CONCORD, N.H. -- New Hampshire may look a little crowded this fall.

A report for state tourism officials predicts that about 7.6 million visitors will come to the state during the fall tourism season and spend more than $1 billion.

The Institute for New Hampshire Studies is expecting a better season this year than last, with visitor spending likely to increase by 3 percent and the number of visitors expected to be about 2 percent higher.

The institute expects Labor Day weekend to be the best ever, with about 550,000 visitors expected to spend about $75 million.

Meanwhile, the state recently received an institute report on last spring's tourism season, which showed more visitors and more spending than last year.

Rooms and meals tax data and traffic counts indicate there were about 6.56 million visitor trips, up by 1.1 percent from the spring of 2005, and that visitors spent about $818 million, 2.3 percent more than the previous spring.
Hmnm...A "Media" report....how can it possibly be true?

Hmmm...obviously it is a lie! A Damned Lie!
