Windmill Regatta
So, what's a Windmill? It is a 15'6", 200lb sailboat w/ a main & a jib & a crew of two. For the next three days, there will be an international Windmill Regatta held at the Winnipesaukee Yacht Club on Dockham Shore Rd, close to Route 11, in Gilford. Out on the lake, the sailboats will be racing around Saunder's Bay.
Ugatta regatta! The article in www.citizen.com says 35 teams will be racing.. Lake Winnipesaukee, July 15-17 www.windmillclass.org
