I wouldn't question anyone's "worthy cause", especially in this economy. The fact they raised money at all is amazing. What they decided to do with it is their business. God bless 'em for giving!
![]() BTW - doesn't the Loon Center employ people and pay wages? ![]() I'd rather see a donation go to a cause (really - any cause) than have my taxes raised to support something I don't support. In other words, at least The Loon Center or whatever else organizations receive money won't be placing Warrants before the voters for more $$$$. People can just choose to give to their cause, whatever it is. |
