Out West in CO, one can get GPS maps of snowmobile corridors. Is there any GPS maps available in NH?

You can purchase a map of the northeast corridor trails for your gps from
http://backwoodsgpstrails.com/Shoppi...e7546bac9d7b2e or from http://www.sledgps.com/ I have the map from sledgps.com and use it with a Garmin Nuvi 550. It is not complete and does not have all club trails but has the main corridor trails and some of the connecting trails. As you ride, you can then collect waypoints at trail junctions and begin to build your own personal database. |

Why is it so difficult to get maps? In Vermont there is one map and all the trails in the state are in that map, Why can't NH be the same?

There is a move to go to county Maps and have the Clubs share the proceeds. Belknap County did this last year (Snow Streakers, Meredith). The down side is how much a club relies on the revenues from map sales to fund various Club activities. To some of the smaller Clubs (membership) it can be a large portion of their operating budget. |
