My in-laws live beside us in Wolfeboro. They have a pump up septic system i.e. the leach field is higher then the house. The line from the pump to the leach field has obviously broken as there is effluent coming out of the ground. This pipe has been repaired before, but it has failed again. Who would you recommend to dig down and fix the pipe. It's either going to need an excavator or a backhoe and someone that can test the field to make sure it isn't plugged.

We use DJ's Spetic out of Tuftonboro to pump and he's a good guy-Dave Joubert, dont know about big repairs but he'll either do it or point you in the right direction

We do too for pumping and pump repair but I don't think they do digging and or have a backhoe.

DJ's fixed a similar problem for us, but no digging was required. It wouldn't hurt to call them as I'm sure yours is not a unique situation for them.

I have Everett Albee coming down to fix the pipe. This is the first year they have used the cottage extensively in the winter. It looks like the pipe freezes in the winter and the pump just blows it apart at a weak point. They'll either have to insulate the pipe or drop it if they want to use the cottage in the winter.
