Default Black Gold, Texas Tea...

Dear Shicks:

I hav tried a bunch of oil changers over the years and have come up with a favorite.

It all started when the wife caught me using her wok to change the oil in my Sea Ray. Jeezzz. You would have thought that I was trying to poison the kids!

Any way my Fav. is the "Oil Boy" fluid extractor. It goes for about Fifty bucks at Boat US and works well. Two minutes (with hot engine oil) and you are ready for a new filter and new oil. (I like NAPA gold filters and 40 wgt.oil)

An alternative if you trailer is the "Quick Drain" drain pan fitting, 15 bucks. This is a fitting that you put in your drain plug and run a hose out of the bilge drain when on the trailer. You can then dump the oil to a container and there is no mess.

All are available from Boat US or any good boating supplier.

You can spend 150 bucks on electric pumps but these cheaper ones work well and are easy to use.

Stir fry any one?

Misty.
