Actually, My wife was present as the Lake Host people approched the boat in question and was witness to the documentation of the bow numbers. When she witnessed the Lake Host man writing she asked "are you writing down the bow numbers" . He replied, yes. She then asked him to remove the number from the list. He assured her he would.
