Default Hi Cate

Hi,

Alton is a good area to live. Still low taxes in comparison. Belmont is WAAY high (and no big lake access). I hope you will find the area welcoming. Of course it is like everywhere else. No matter what you will always find someone who will be critical but I think, for the most part, we are a liberal thinking group. Please feel free to contact me as I can put you in touch with some friends that could probably answer more indepth questions on this. I am a transplant as well. Maybe that is why we are such a good group - we New Hampshirites (New Hampshorians??) come from all over!
