Thanks Dan, they are always great to get a look at.

A friend of ours is helping the NH F&G in a project to live trap, install radio collars and track bobcats.

So far he has live trapped four cats this winter.

This photo is of a female bobcat that I encountered 5 years ago near our house. I was about 15 feet away when the photo was taken, a once in a lifetime viewing. She had been carrying a kit across the road and was hit and stunned by a car. I came across her on my morning walk laying on the side of the road. So I walked right up next to her to have a look and then she jumped up the bank and looked back. The kit did not survive.
