One thing I do like about Heath's produce.......during the season they buy a lot from local farmers which none of the big chains do. They have organic veggies from the "Booty" farm and I've bought really nice peaches, plums, and several varieties of apples, all grown locally. Produce is one of the toughest products to handle because the shelf life is so short.
We like them at the VK because they grind fresh hamburger for us every day and they always accommodate, even on short notice.
