I downloaded the program and it is very blurry, even at 1500 feet. I'm doing something wrong or Center Harbor is not one of the areas they enhanced I guess?

Jeff,

You didn't do anything wrong.

If you look at the shading of this pic.. you can see that GE has stitched together several pictures. The area that includes Center Harbor is a photo from 7/4/2009, same with the Alton area.

If you "zoom out" on the Lake, you can clearly see where the maps where stitched. If you zoom into any area and click on any location the date of the image appears in the lower left hand corner of the zoomed image.

I've noticed that some of the images from my hometown in Mass are still 2007 images. Luck of the draw I guess.

Rats! I was hoping to see our camp with a current image. Our stupid caretaker left 1/2 our dock in during the winter, and on ice out I heard from neighbors that it was destroyed. Thanks Steve.

If you look closely at the bottom of the screen, you'll see that the images actually come from different sources, such as the State and different Federal agencies. This'll affect the quality depending on how much each agency can afford for high quality images from low altitude flyovers.
