Lightbulb Power outage.

Does anyone know what the cause of the power outage in alton is? Look like it is widespead from the co op website.

No, but would love to know how bad it is. The power went out for a second and then about 10 minutes or so later it went out 2-3 times for a few seconds and then it stopped trying. I think I better save my battery.

It was off from almost exactly 9AM - 10AM, and I'm wondering if it was a planned outage to perform some sort of scheduled maintenance or repair. I was monitoring NHEC on the scanner while the power was out and there was no chatter about the outage at all.

DRH: The recording on the NHEC outage reporting phone line stated that the primary power input from PSNH was down. Looking at the outage map, it was essentially all of New Durham and Alton with just a few in Farmington. I would guess that the PSNH to NHEC interface station is near the Farmington/New Durham town line.
