Not to hijack this thread, but since we're talking about lake decor, can anyone recommend a place where I can get a great map of Winnipesaukee and the surrounding towns? Not looking for a nautical chart.

The Country Carriage in Mill Falls should have a wonderful selection. I worked for them (at a different store) when I was in high school.Wonderful store!

Signs - Black's in downtown Wolfeboro and some store with Moose in the across the parking lot from Dockside in Wolfeboro.
Maps - Moultonboro Country Store. I saw a ton of them on Thursday.

There is a new store right at the docks facing the parking lot that has some good stuff in the windows. This is in the place where the Great Water's bank tried to start up. Looks like they would have what you may be looking for.
I particularly liked the sign in the window that says: Welcome Friends (Relatives By Appointment) !!! |

hancoveguy - Try the Moultonboro Country Store.
The Antique Emporium in Laconia (Main St.) may have something like the the items you're describing, but that can be hit or miss... |
