I live in Melvin Village. Grocery shopping closest is Center Harbor or Wolfeboro. Closest cheaper grocery store is Hannaford in Ossipee. No Market Baskets within an hour of us!

my buddy in Melvin says he does most of his shopping at Hannifords in Ossipee. If he needs additional groceries during the week, he'll hit more local markets in Wolfboro or Center Harbor depending on what he is doing that week.
I love Melivin, its one of the more quiet areas on the lake due to distance from I-93 and lack of service industry in that corner of the lake. Melvin Bay is also a wonderful respit from busier parts of the lake in the summer. |
